IPCR Signs MoUs With Five Organisations To Strengthen Peacebuilding Efforts

The Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution has signed Memoranda of Understanding with five organisations to strengthen collaborative efforts in addressing Nigeria’s complex and evolving conflict landscape.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the Institute’s office in Abuja, Director General, Professor Joseph Ochogwu, reaffirmed the IPCR’s commitment to advancing peacebuilding through strategic partnerships.

He said the Institute remains dedicated to delivering impactful services to the Nigerian government, citizens, and the wider African continent through evidence based research, policy advocacy, and direct interventions.

Professor Ochogwu emphasised the significance of the agreements, noting that they are critical to delivering tangible value and sustainable solutions to society.

Representatives of the partner organisations also stressed that the importance of peace and effective conflict resolution cannot be overemphasised.

The MoU signing marks a strategic step by the Institute to deepen collaboration with civil society and professional bodies, reinforcing a multi stakeholder approach to peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and sustainable development in Nigeria.
