The Federal Government of Nigeria has extended its formal congratulations to the Republic of Senegal in celebration of the country’s Independence Anniversary.

In a press statement signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spokesperson Kimiebi Ebienfa and made available to Channel Network Afrique, CNA described the anniversary as a “defining moment” for Senegal, highlighting the nation’s commitment to democratic governance and regional stability.

​The Nigerian government praised Senegal’s role as a model of political maturity within the African continent. The statement emphasized Senegal’s significant contributions to:
